Commercial Flooring Installation in Kansas City

The Remodel Co. installs commercial flooring for offices, retail stores, restaurants, and medical spaces across the Kansas City metro. We schedule installs in phases around your operating hours, handle the slab prep that keeps manufacturer warranties valid, and bid as a flooring subcontractor for general contractors.

Commercial flooring we install

Porcelain and ceramic tile

Durable, easy-to-clean floors for restaurants, restrooms, lobbies, and retail. Large-format porcelain gives lobbies a high-end look with few grout lines.

Luxury vinyl plank and sheet vinyl

Waterproof, scratch-resistant, and low-maintenance; the most common choice for offices, clinics, and multi-family common areas.

Carpet tile

Modular carpet for offices and conference rooms. Damaged or stained tiles can be swapped one at a time instead of replacing the whole floor.

How we keep your business open

Every hour a business is closed for flooring is lost revenue. We plan commercial projects around that.

  • Phased installs. We work with your facility manager to sequence the job by area, after hours or on weekends where needed.
  • Slab preparation. Commercial concrete often needs grinding, leveling, and moisture testing before anything goes down. Skipping that step is the most common reason commercial floors fail early and warranties get denied.
  • Clean handoffs. Each area is finished, cleaned, and ready for use before we move to the next.

On a commercial floor, the slab prep decides whether the flooring outlasts its warranty.

Industries we serve

  • Offices: lobbies, conference rooms, open work areas, and break rooms
  • Retail and hospitality: boutiques, salons, and restaurants, including slip-resistant tile for kitchens and dining rooms
  • Medical and dental: hygienic, easy-to-clean floors that hold up to daily disinfection
  • Multi-family: common areas, hallways, and unit turns

For general contractors

We regularly work as a flooring subcontractor. Send your plans and finish schedule, and we’ll return a detailed line-item bid. We’re a Class A licensed general contractor ourselves (Johnson County License #2026-0012697), so we understand schedules, inspections, and the documentation a GC needs.

Standards we install to

Our tile installations follow Tile Council of North America (TCNA) methods. One residential client noticed it: “someone actually following proper waterproofing methods and following TCNA guidelines.” The same standards apply on every commercial floor.
