Lake Winnebago has both city permitting and HOA Architectural Review Committee (ARC) requirements. Any exterior change—from deck additions to window replacements—requires ARC approval before city permits are issued.
The ARC reviews: – Exterior materials and colors – Addition massing and setbacks – Deck and dock modifications – Landscape and hardscape changes
City permit note: Lake Winnebago requires a $1,000 “Mud Deposit” for construction projects, refundable upon satisfactory completion. We manage all deposits and inspections.
Tiered lot consideration: Many Lake Winnebago properties sit on tiered terrain. Additions and deck projects require engineering review for soil stability and proper drainage.
